~THE CONSTRUCTION ZONE ~

Charlie maps out the train design and has begun framing this light weight and re-movable layout.

Framing is reinforced with braces to add stability, rigidity and strength.

Levels are used along all points of this base construction to ensure uniform level and low grade rises/falls. 

Foam is cut to spec and installed providing a flat, easy to use surface to install cork or track bed directly. 

 Risers are measured & installed

 Charlie installs raised curved foam bed.

 Face boards are added along with back boards.

 Site of future river is cut directly out of the foam.

 Electricity is installed and ....

the O&W Diesel takes it's maiden voyage around the now complete main line!

 The steam train follows, as it makes it's way around a future round table.

Charlie inspects the trains progress as it makes its journey around, evaluating smoothness of operation....

Sidings are in and passing almost completed

JR helps by adding individually made grass clumps
